Time for another entry into my SDCC Tips & Tricks category! This time it’s all about food! Here’s last years SDCC restaurant guide! Keep in mind that some new places have opened, but for this post, I’ll be mentioning places I ate last year! I only really ate at 3 places last year! Weird, right?! (I was going to include Donovan’s Prime Seafood, but apparently it’s closed? It was so delicious though and a nice treat after a long day at SDCC!) So I’ll include some places I’ve heard good things about. I’m also going to recommend some other bloggers SDCC restaurant guides: The Nerdy Girlie’s Eat This Not That At SDCC, My Burning Kitchen’s The League of Extraordinary Appetites: Where To Eat Downtown During Comic-Con, and The San Diego Comic-Con Unofficial Blog’s Herbivores, Carnivores and Early Birds: Eating Out In San Diego During Comic-Con is VERY helpful! *Please keep in mind that these lists were created last year and that some places may have closed down or moved.*
The Old Spaghetti Factory
Address: 275 5th Ave, San Diego, CA 92101
Hours: Open today · 11:30 am – 2:00 pm, 4:30 – 10:00 pm
I loved this restaurant! Fast, cheap food! While it is crowded, I did mention to get a table during Saturday near noon. Crazy, right?!
207 5th Ave
San Diego, CA 92101
b/t K St & L St in Gaslamp (<- Warning: this is where it was LAST year, so it could change locations!)
This is my favorite place to eat during SDCC! I eat there almost every morning if I’m not camping out! While the food isn’t necessarily cheap, it isn’t that expensive either. Plus what’s cooler than sitting in a cafe that feels like your in the world of Defiance?! Also, ask about SDCC exclusive bundles! 🙂

What better thing to eat while waiting in line for The Avengers: Age of Ultron panel?!
I know this list isn’t much, but I wanted to share some of my favorite places!! I’ll try to update this list as more and more “themed” restaurants are announced. Last year, there was an Impractical Jokers restaurant and King of The Nerds cereal bar! Hopefully we’ll see some fun stuff like that again this year! I hope this list and the list’s I linked help you have a tasty SDCC! Only a few more weeks!
