The Shorty Awards are THE awards for Social Media! How amazing is that? Awards for achievements in social media? Crazy awesome! While I’m not nominated for a Shorty Award, I do know some people who are and I wanted to shine the spotlight on all of them! Each person below deserves a Shorty Award! Whether it was throwing a SherlockeDDC party, spreading the best SDCC news around, or giving me the boost to ask Tom Hiddleston a question, these people rule social media and should definitely be acknowledged! 😀
These are in no particular order, it’s just based on which Shorty Awards I found out about first.
I met Megan during SDCC this past year after being a fan of her blog for quite some time and I can say for sure that Megan is too kind! She loves spreading news about SDCC and has an infinite love for all sorts of conventions which you can tell whether it be by her tweets or her blog! You might remember Megan from our very first 5 Questions with…
HiddlestonedEducator is one of my most FAVORITE Hiddlestoners out there! She tweets all the best stuff about Mr. Hiddleston and helps spread news of all things Loki! I’ve been following her for quite a while now and it’s safe to say she should definitely win a Shorty Award!
Ashley Eckstein is one of kindest people I know! Her tweets never cease to bring a smile to my face! Ashley WAY deserves this Short Award! She’s always nice and always helpful! 🙂
Tony was a huge help during SDCC! His blog, Crazy4ComicCon, was such lifesaver! With tips and tricks from past SDCC’s, he made my first very simple! You might also remember Tony from our 5 Questions with him!
When Nerds Attack was SUPER helpful during my first SDCC! Always bringing the news on collectibles and badges almost immediately after the news went out! I would highly recommend you follow them especially if you’re planning your first SDCC or even your second!
Baker St Babes threw an amazing Sherlock party during SDCC last year, rightly named, SherlockeDCC! I had a really fun night and even got to see Mark Gatiss in person!!
