The_Hobbit-_An_Unexpected_Journey_jpeg

Hey, all. A lot’s been going on lately, but one thing I wanted to talk about is The Hobbit and why it’s one of the greatest movie’s/book of all time. Yes, I’m a super huge fan of The Lord of The Rings, but I feel The Hobbit is just as great. Probably has to do with that whole feast scene. It’s my favorite scene in the whole movie, except for when Bilbo meets Gollum for the first time. Oh, and when they all sing Misty Mountains. I have a lot of favorite scenes.

Even though I’ve been a huge fan for a long time, I’ve never read The Hobbit. I actually just started reading it this week…. and I LOVE it. It’s definitely in my top five. I really don’t know why I’ve been putting it off for this long, but I’ve actually come to where I’m enjoying the book over the movie in some parts. I really enjoy reading more about Bilbo’s family history and what he is exactly. Yes, they tell you in the movie, but the book goes into greater detail. I haven’t finished it yet, but so far it seems the movie does it justice. But one thing I’m planning is having a big hobbit feast very soon. I’ve had small hobbit feasts, but nothing grandeur. I also went to Denny’s when they had all the hobbit-inspired foods, but I don’t think that counts. I’ve got to have a real feast with seed cake and pork pie’s!

I’m sure with this post I didn’t exactly explain what makes The Hobbit one of the greatest movie’s/book of all time, but this is what makes it great to me.

What makes it great to you?

Yay for Yoda! Yoda won 60% to 40%. Darth Vader was no match to Yoda, who is now crowned most popular Star Wars character in the galaxy! Thanks to everyone for voting. It’s been fun covering some of these match-ups!
